January 26 marks the beginning of the colonisation of this land which has led to the ongoing dispossession and violence First Nations people still face.
Black deaths in custody, child removal rates and incarceration rates are becoming worse. Meanwhile land, waters and sacred sites are destroyed by mining and gas giants.
It is important in this election year to join these protests honouring survival, resistance and justice.
