More people get Â鶹´«Ã½

Sales of Â鶹´«Ã½ have been rapidly increasing this year. In particular, Resistance and the Democratic Socialist Party branches report enormous success in their street sales, with an increase this year of over 30% compared to last year's average.

Sales for issue #88 recorded new heights. In Adelaide, Resistance and the DSP sold a new high of 1480 copies. One Resistance activist, Emma, sold 280!Two other Adelaide Resistance activists, Darin and Arun, each sold more than 100.

In Perth, Resistance and the DSP also increased their sales again. DSP activist James sold 236 copies of issue 88.

Sellers say that Â鶹´«Ã½ is increasingly recognised. Apparently, many new students at orientation weeks, for example, had already come into contact with Â鶹´«Ã½ at high school, or around the streets, in bookshops or from friends.

Â鶹´«Ã½ has also been getting more requests for bundles from outlying towns and regional centres. This IWD issue, for example, is being sold in the streets of Dubbo, a new addition to Green Left's regional distribution network.
