鈥淭his is a genocide and we have to stop pretending otherwise,鈥 she said.
Australia was on the 鈥渨rong side of history鈥 in 2003 during the United States鈥搇ed invasion of Iraq in which more than 1 million people were killed.
鈥淭oday the world watches the genocide of the Palestinian people and, as the looming possibility of wider regional conflict grows, Australia must ensure it does not end up on the wrong side of history again,鈥 Payman said.
