The Australian Federal election is coming up, in mid-April or latest May 17th. Help us make our voices heard from Calare to Canberra. Stand up for Palestine in the lead up to the Federal election! Candidates need to know that Palestine is an election issue! In April our group will host a free 2 day event, to raise awareness in our local community. All are welcome including our Federal candidates. This is a grassroots movement of volunteers, reach out if you'd like to get involved. These events will be held on the unceded lands of the Wiradjuri nation. Always was always will be Aboriginal land. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!

Saturday, April 5th:
Film Screening, fundraiser and family activities
Film: ‘Palestinians Don’t Need Sidewalks’
Followed by a Q&A session with; Lee Rhiannon former NSW Greens Senator, Michelle Berkon from Jews Against the Occupation and Ahmed Alabadla co founder of the Palestine Justice Movement
Venue: The Greens on William, 29 William st, Bathurst
Time: 12pm-3pm

FREE ENTRY. A new documentary by the award winning filmmakers of 'Palestine Under Siege'. Family friendly activities will be provided outside of the screening.

Sunday, April 6th:
Bathurst Kites for Gaza and Rally
Join us as we fly kites and rally for Gaza once again. Free kites available on the day, limited supplies.
Venue: Learmonth Park, Bathurst
Time: 11:00 AM

Children in Gaza set a kite-flying record in 2011. Come fly your own kite at this peaceful action.
