Whistle-blower David McBride faces court in the ACT on November 13 for exposing war crimes.
This is the speech he gave at the Truth Not War Festival for Whistleblowers and Wikileaks on November 12.
In the speech he said that the government 鈥渃ares more about secrecy than they do about crime鈥.
Answering the accusation that he revealed classified information, he pointed out that all information (including the supply levels of 鈥渂og roll鈥) is classified.
鈥淚t is not about classified information, it is about crime,鈥 he said of the documents he released.
He thanked people for attending the festival and said 鈥渋t鈥檚 not a huge crowd here today, but it is huge in my heart鈥.
鈥淭hey hate the fact that we hold our heads up high.鈥
