Tens of thousands call for ceasefire, end Israel's occupation

Tens of thousands of people marched for Palestine, calling for a ceasefire, for Israel to lift the siege and for an end to its occupation.

The protests are growing every week and activists say they will keep marching until the genocide ends.

They are demanding Australian Labor cut ties with the state of Israel, which is committing war crimes in Gaza.

Victoria Police prevented protesters from marching to the steps of Parliament, as planned, redirecting the large gathering to Treasury Gardens where Palestinian activists addressed the large crowd.
