Release detained refugees and give them permanent protection

Regular actions are being organised to demand the federal government frees almost 120 refugees detained at Kangaroo Point.

These refugees, along with others detained at the Mantra Hotel in Melbourne and those still on Nauru and Manus Island, should all be offered immediate and permanent protection in Australia.

Unions for Refugees held an action outside the Kangaroo Point prison on November 4.

Refugee Action Collective held an action outside Home Affairs minister Peter Dutton鈥檚 electorate office on November 5.

A faith vigil was held on November 8 and Community Solidarity Days 鈥 鈥淟onger Tables, not Higher Fences鈥 鈥 are also being held: the .
