Speakers denounced the United States role in the coup against the socialist government of Salvador Allende in 1973 at aÌýrally outside the USÌýConsulate on September 11. Thousands of people were killed in the coup and its aftermath.
They also denounced the ongoing USÌýinterference in Latin America, including itsÌýeconomic war against Cuba and Venezuela, which is causing severe hardship to the people of those countries.
