If you bought this issue of Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly on the street, outside a cinema or perhaps at a pub, chances are you bought it from a member of the Democratic Socialist Party or Resistance. The DSP and Resistance are currently undertaking a campaign to lift the distribution of Â鶹´«Ã½.
Until early July, they will be pushing harder than ever to take the paper to places it hasn't been before, or not in some time. Â鶹´«Ã½ will be sold more in the suburbs, more at railway stations and more at coffee shops and pubs, in order to raise the distribution even higher.
The DSP and Resistance are committed to the success of Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly because it plays a key role in helping to organise the fight back against Liberal and Labor government attacks. The more people who read Â鶹´«Ã½ every week, the more informed the fight back becomes, with a greater chance of success.
Without the efforts of the DSP and Resistance, few would see or read Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly. Without those who are prepared to go out and sell the finished product, all the work in producing Â鶹´«Ã½ would be worth little.
What can you do? Perhaps you can help distribute the paper. Perhaps you could sell a small bundle each week to friends or work mates. Perhaps you could join in with Resistance and DSP sellers on the street. There is more than one way to help get Â鶹´«Ã½ around.
Selling Â鶹´«Ã½ means having your say. Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly — it's your paper.
