Comedian Akmal Saleh spoke at the Magan-djin/Brisbane rally in solidarity with the people of Gaza on June 15.
He said that Israel's claim that it has 鈥渢he right to defend itself" is a 鈥渂latant lie".
鈥淭hey actually don't technically have the right to defend themselves against people they're holding prisoner," he said, but even if they did 鈥渋t's still a lie".
鈥淒ropping 2000 pound bombs on a civilian population is not self defence," he said.
