The Australian government is pursuing criminal prosecutions against a former Australian secret agent βWitness Kβ and his lawyer Bernard Collaery, who revealed that Australia had bugged East Timor cabinet meetings in 2004 during negotiations over the Timor Sea boundary and its oil and gas reserves.
