Climate strike online
Around the world climate activists are continuing to hold weekly Friday strikes for climate action — now online.
People are uploading photos of themselves and a placard to #climatestrikeonline on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The online protest was started by Swedish environmentalist Greta Thunberg and Fridays for the Future as a way of continuing to be active during the COVID19 pandemic and quarantines happening across the world.
