ANU union elections
@box text intr = CANBERRA — The September 3-6 Students Association elections at the Australian National University were won by the ticket associated with the incumbent officials. The left-Labor controlled Education Action ticket also won some positions.
Resistance decided not to run with Education Action, because the ALP students involved refused to allow democratic control of campaign material.
Instead, Resistance members used the opportunity to build support for anti-corporate and pro-refugee campaigns, as well as free education for all.
