Last year Resistance led the high school walkouts against racism. Here is what our opponents said about the rallies:
Ìý

Shaun Nelson (Queensland One Nation MP): “Putting children into the line of fire ... is child abuse ... these communists should have to answer for their actions”.

Bill Feldman (Queensland One Nation leader): The Resistance walkout is “a very dangerous practice. I think it should be stamped out.”

Piers Akerman (columnist Daily Telegraph): “The thoroughly repugnant and manipulative socialist youth organisation Resistance will again attempt to excite guileless students with another trumped up demonstration against racism”.

Padraic McGuinness (columnist Sydney Morning Herald): “Perhaps this is one of the times when [ASIO] ought to be keeping close tabs on extremists”.

Pauline Hanson: “What protest?” when confronted by 3000 high school students outside the Queensland parliament.
