For some time now, Â鶹´«Ã½ has been plugged into the information superhighway. Through the Pegasus network, we draw information and the occasional article and upload the text of the paper each week.
Those with access have been able to read Â鶹´«Ã½ free from the Internet every week. Â鶹´«Ã½ articles have been "posted" electronically around the world, read and reproduced in a range of countries.
Reading Â鶹´«Ã½ on the Internet has never been quite the same as the real thing, though. There are no graphics, no pictures, only two-dimensional text. That's all about to change.
For several months, a group of supporters have been plugging away at the electronic face of Â鶹´«Ã½. Before long, surfers of the Internet will be able not only to read Â鶹´«Ã½ but also to look at some of the graphics. Before long, Â鶹´«Ã½ will make an entry into the World Wide Web in style.
Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly is committed to reaching the broadest possible audience. Today, a growing part of this audience is "on line".
Â鶹´«Ã½ has big plans to expand, improve and consolidate over this year. The only thing that stands in our way is the cost. Â鶹´«Ã½ receives no government subsidy and no corporate sponsorship. We rely on our supporters — those on paper and those on line.
You can play a part in taking Â鶹´«Ã½ into the 21st century. Subscribe to the paper, or make a donation. Every contribution counts. Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly — it's your newspaper. n
