Colours

Colours is an exhilarating presentation of two distinct pieces by the Aboriginal Islander Dance Company. The first is traditional dance with guest artists from the Tiwi people of Bathurst Island and Murray Island in the Torres Straits. The second is modern dance in which the choreography is the dancers' interpretation of the emotions induced by the colours selected for them. Definitely worth seeing, Colours is full of skilfully directed energy and vitality. It continues until January 23 at the Seymour Centre in Sydney.
