Hassan Jabber, founder of the refugee-led group Justice for Refugees Victoria, highlighted Bolton鈥檚 unwavering commitment to supporting refugee rights and said that all those in the refugee campaign 鈥渨ill always support you鈥.

Yanni Tsiavos, a trade union activist based in Merri-bek, highlighted Bolton鈥檚 record in supporting worker鈥檚 rights. 鈥淭here hasn鈥檛 been a picket where I have not seen Sue.鈥
Tsiavos spoke about the need to support socialist candidates over Labor, arguing its policies aim to empower the rich over working-class people and it is 鈥渧ery happy to attack trade unions鈥.
Sarah Hathway, Socialist Alliance鈥檚 candidate for Corio, condemned Labor for prioritising the manufacturing of weapons, while working people are being priced out of affordable suburbs in Djilang/Geelong. Hathway is running against defence minister Richard Marles.
Jordan Van Den Lamb, Victorian Socialists鈥 Senate candidate, said: 鈥淭he people of Wills are very privileged to be able to vote for a socialist candidate like Sue Bolton.鈥
Bolton highlighted the policies SA is talking up, including housing justice, opposing privatisations and standing up for justice for the people of Gaza and the West Bank,
She made the case that voting socialist in this election is more important than ever.
鈥淲e need elected representatives that will use their platform to mobilise in defence of our rights,鈥 Bolton said.
鈥淧eter Khalil, the sitting MP, has been an apologist for Israel鈥檚 genocide. He has been part of a Labor government that has overseen our living standards plummet. Both major parties are failing to address working people鈥檚 needs.
鈥淧eople power is the only way we can stop the billionaire class and their political representatives, Labor and Liberal, from attacking our rights on behalf of the billionaires.鈥
