Secondary student network formed

HOBART — As a result of the rally against racism here on June 26, a new activist group of secondary students was formed.

The Secondary Students Anti-Racist Network aims to politicise secondary students and demonstrate that we are strongly against racism. The first meeting was held on July 2, and it was decided upon to produce a brochure for students.

We are also discussing the possibility of a secondary student walkout coinciding with Pauline Hanson's visit to Tasmania. Any interested parties should call 62346397 to get involved in combating racism.
