Peter Dutton is speaking at a meeting of the American Chamber of Commerce in Brisbane, to give an "inside look at Australia’s defense posture amidst rising global tensions and dynamic activity in Europe and Asia".

As Immigrations Minister, he's overseen the indefinite detention of hundreds of refugees fleeing war.

Now as Defence Minister, he wants to create more of them.
