On August 20th Nillumbik Council will receive an internal report on our submitted petition. They will meet on August 27th to discuss the options. This will be the last meeting held by this set of Councillors before they go into Caretaker period.
We invite you to rally with us outside Council offices at 6pm to show our solidarity with P@.l3stine and all those who are impacted by this g3.n0ci-de, including the people of Yemen, Lebanon and Syria.
Let's make our voices loud and heard.
Community members are welcome to attend the Council meeting from 7pm.
We will not stand by idly while the "Australian" Government and "International Community" aid and abet this genocide.
We will not be quiet as Penny Wong meets with war criminals to sign MoUs. We know the truth. We don't need so-called "misinformation to be curbed."
The standard we walk past is the standard we accept.
We strongly oppose the complicity being displayed by all levels of Government.
We will not carry on as usual and we will not stop.
9 metro Melbourne Councils have passed motions of solidarity already!
Also, please see the link in our bio to send a letter to the Councillors calling on them to ratify and implement the petition.
