Israel has broken the ceasefire, launching a on Gaza and killing more than 400 Palestinians, including at least 100 children, and wounding hundreds more.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu these strikes were 鈥渏ust the beginning鈥 and Israeli defence minister Israel Katz said 鈥渢he gates of hell will open in Gaza鈥.
The White House confirmed that the Donald Trump administration had given the go ahead for the attacks.聽
Israel had blocked aid from entering Gaza for two weeks prior to the strikes, and has continued to kill Palestinians in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank throughout the ceasefire.聽
Despite this, Labor refuses to cut ties with the genocidal, apartheid regime. Foreign minister Penny Wong鈥檚 statement calling for 鈥渃ivilians to be protected鈥 means little when Australia continues to provide weapons, financial and political support to Israel.
