HOBART — The Friends of the Gunns 20 have launched an official website at .

According to the home page, the website provides "information on one of the biggest lawsuits ever launched in Australia by a rich industrial company against ordinary citizens, groups and political representatives who care about our environmental heritage". This is a reference to the suit launched in December by woodchipping company Gunns Limited against 20 environmental activists and organisations.

"This website also shows you how to be part of the people power that must win the day for your forests, your free speech and your democracy."

The website includes information about the defendants, the background to the dispute, what's at stake and information about how to support the campaign.
