In these days of growing media concentration, Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly is a proudly independent voice committed to human and civil rights, global peace and environmental sustainability.
By printing the news and ideas the establishment media won't, Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly exposes the lies and distortions of the power brokers and helps us better understand the world we live in.
But Â鶹´«Ã½ is more than a source of information and an exchange of ideas: it encourages people to play an active role in bringing about progressive change.
Given the prohibitive cost of traditional newspaper distribution outlets such as newsagents, Â鶹´«Ã½ has relied on its network of supporters to survive.
In three weeks, Â鶹´«Ã½ supporters will launch a two-week drive to extend the paper's readership and support base. We are appealing for your help. The two-week blitz aims to increase the number of Â鶹´«Ã½ Weekly subscribers by 275 and increase weekly sales by 1000.
You can help us by: finding new outlets (such as sympathetic bookshops, wholefood shops, cafes); selling subscriptions (there will be a special discount offered on longer-term subscriptions); showing the paper to people who haven't seen it before; or buying a bundle of papers to distribute.
