Why

Jihadist militias backed by the Turkish State have launched a new wave of attacks in Rojava and the Kurdish neighbourhoods in Aleppo. Thousands of Kurds and Alevis have fled their homes - many who were previously displaced from Afrin. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is warning of danger of mass atrocities. The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has called emergency mobilisation and for international solidarity.
