From November 24 - 27 this year in Newcastle, thousands of everyday people will take to the water for the People’s Blockade of the World’s Largest Coal Port, to demand “no new coal” and a rapid transition in a way that cannot be ignored.
A fun and inspiring People’s Blockade will also help swell direct action against fossil fuels around Australia, including in Brisbane.
On 26 July, we’ll be gathering at House Conspiracy (42 Mollison St, West End) to build a Brisbane contingent of the Blockade - this involves getting the word out to local folk, coordinating travel and planning for the Blockade.
Come along to help build Brisbane’s presence in this massive, powerful action.
